Making you a better leader

An effective leader is one of the greatest assets a company can have. Leaders are expected to have a knowledge of both business skills and human skills to be able to develop and maintain business plans, strategies, to set goals, and develop the vision and mission statements by which the company should run, while at the same time also motivating and giving feedback to employees, mentoring, facilitating the building of teams, dealing with conflict situations, and other human dynamics that are the reality in any workforce.

Luckily, these skills can be learned. Toastmasters International has developed several Leadership manuals that can help members to improve many aspects of their leadership skills.

These manuals can be presented by interested toastmasters members at Club meetings, as an Educational Session of 15-20 minutes. As such they can be of immense benefit to the Club in general, and to the member presenting the manual.

Presenting a Leadership Manual also counts towards the Competent Leader (CL) qualification. The various leadership manuals are:
